Ruhaan Shaikh, Dhruva Kamat, Yug Prabhu and Chandan Caro advanced to the boys under-15 semi-finals of the Ulhas Jewellers – BPS Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2026 being played at the Multipurpose Stadium, Fatorda. Ruhaan outclassed Mission Lalpekhlua 3-0, Dhruva defeated Ishaan Colaso 3-1, Yug overcame Vedant Wagle 3-0, while Chandan registered a convincing 3-0 win over Aarish Shaikh in the quarterfinals.
Earlier, Vihang Jotkar, Lalremkima, Riying Modi, Paras Dalal, Vanlalsawmkima, Noel Kurien, Raunak Kambli, Nathan D’Souza, Dev Chopdekar, Kange Mengu and Ashank Dalvi exited in the round of 16.
In the quarter-finals, Yug defeated Vanlalmalsawmkima 3-0, Mission overcame Aarish Shaikh 3-1, Kaushik got the better of Ashank Dalvi 3-0, while Yuvaan registered a convincing 3-0 win over Vihaan Jotkar to complete the last-four line-up.
Earlier in the pre-quarter-finals, Yug beat Kavish Dalvi 3-0, Vanlalmalsawmkima edged past Kedar Nair 3-2, Aarish defeated Shreysht Rane 3-1, Mission overcame Vardhan Verlekar 3-0, Kaushik got the better of Aryan Kanji 3-0, Ashank outplayed Ronan Menezes Gama 3-0, Yuvaan defeated Adhiraj Badave 3-0, while Vihaan prevailed over Ishaan Colaso 3-2 to book their places in the quarter-finals.
Ashank Dalvi, Aarish Shaikh, Ronan Menezes Gama and Urvansh Pathak advanced to the finals of the Boys Under-11 and Boys Under-9 categories respectively.
Ashank defeated Cladwyn Miranda 3-0, while Aarish Shaikh overcame Kedar Nair 3-1 to set up the title clash in the Under-11 category. Earlier, Ashank , Cladwyn Miranda, Kedar Nair and Aarish had advanced to the last four after overcoming Arjun Rane, Vardhan Verlekar, Ved Sanvordekar and Shiv Chopdekar respectively in the quarter-finals.
In the Boys Under-9 section, Ronan Menezes Gama entered the final with a convincing 3-0 win over Vivaan Rane, while Urvansh Pathak defeated Yajat Keni 3-1 in the other semi-final. In the U9 quarter-finals, Vivaan Rane, Ronan, Yajat Keni and Urvansh registered victories over Advith Rao, Mark D’Costa, Anshuman Lokapure and Evan D’Mello respectively to complete the semi-final line-up.
