PANAJI: Goa’s Lenny da Gama has been nominated as RJs Evaluator/Observer for the Elite Men’s World Championship to be held in Belgrade-Serbia, from 24th October, 21 to 6th November, 2021.
The Saligao-based veteran boxing administrator and vice-president of Goa Boxing Association had also been involved at Tokyo 2020 as the Evaluator/Observer for judges and referees.
Lenny, 67, is a AIBA Evaluator/Observer/RJs Instructor and a Member of the AIBA RJs Committee. Moreover, with his tremendous experience ranging from the grassroots level to the highest level of international boxing, Lenny had recently declared to www.livenewsgoa.com his plans to start a boxing trust (foundation) to finetune the preparations of boxers from the state with a calibre to win national medals.
