PANAJI: As many as 120 cyclists took to road to celebrate the Xaxti Riders Christmas Ride 2021, says a press release.

Clad in ‘made for the occasion’ red T-shirts, the swarm of cyclists with all lights on and spirits bright, roamed across the beautiful villages of Curtorim, Macasana and Chandor.

The cyclists rode along lit homes and Christmas Trees  singing carols at every nook and corner and delighting the watchers and the passersby.

The 23km ride, with a brief refreshment halt at Chandor Monte, ended a couple of hours later.

“It’s been a year of challenges which has made us stronger,” says Xaxti Riders president Sameer Nadkarni. “It’s also been a great year of cycling, making new friends, boosting immunity and busting stress. We look forward to upping it more in 2022.”
