YMCA clinched double crown at the 1st YMCA Infiknights Basketball Tournament for men and women, held at DBO indoor stadium, Panaji, recently.
In the women’s final, YMCA Infiknights beat Sonics-Porvorim 31-15. Amisha Lotlikar top-scored for Infiknights with 10 points.
YMCA Knights beat Kjs Miramar 54-41 in the men’s title-clash. Shaun Aranjo was the top-scorer with 21 points to his name. He was followed by Flobert Monteiro with 12 points.
Earlier in the men’s semi-finals, YMCA Knights beat Sonics Porvorim 61-50, while Kjs Miramar beat Lourdes Basketball Club 45-38.
