Sanisha Sinha and Ishita Colaso have reached the Girls U17 final at the YMCA All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, organised by YMCA Panjim in association with the Goa Table Tennis Association at the Indoor Stadium, Campal.
Sanisha defeated Tisha Shaikh 3-0 in the semifinals, while Ishita overcame Inara D’Souza by an identical 3-0 scoreline. Earlier, Sanisha defeated Alyka Fernandes 3-0 in the quarterfinals, while Tisha edged Neeza Kamat 3-2, Inara beat Gianna George 3-1 and Ishita defeated Bretnia Laishram 3-0.
In the Girls U13 semifinals, top seed Sachi Dessai defeated Vanlalrinzuali 3-0, while Tisha Shaikh beat Inara D’Souza 3-0 to reach the final. In the Girls U15 semifinals, Ishita Colaso defeated Aarna Lotlikar 3-0 and Tisha Shaikh beat Sachi Dessai 3-0 to set up the title clash.
Earlier, U13 quarterfinal winners were Dessai, Vanlalrinzuali, D’Souza and Shaikh, while Ishita, Aarna, Tisha and Saachi advanced from the U15 quarterfinals.
