Goa has become a hub of National badminton tournaments in the recent times and the state is once again set to host the Yonex-Sunrise All India Sub-Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament from Friday; this time at the Multipurpose Stadium, Peddem-Mapusa, North Goa.
While Goa will witness a host of raw talents from all over the country at this Nationals, which concludes on 17th May, the state governing body for badminton i.e Goa Badminton Association is also gearing up to provide a fresh impetus to the youth development programme in the remote corners of the state.
As such, the GBA launched an outreach programme with ‘Donor Counters’ being set up on the sidelines of the upcoming National ranking tournament at Peddem sports complex. Badminton racquets, jerseys, shuttles can be donated as part of the Outreach programme.
