The 12th edition of the popular, Rotary Rain Run (RRR) will be held on Sunday, July 26.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Porvorim, the RRR is Goa’s prominent rainy-season race. Since its inception in 2015, RRR has grown into one of Goa’s most anticipated annual events, attracting runners from across India and beyond.
Announcing this in a media release issued in the city on Wednesday, Avinash Parmar, chairman of the event said that RRR was focused on promoting fitness, community spirit, and social impact. “Since its inception in 2015, RRR has grown into one of Goa’s most anticipated annual events, attracting runners from across India and beyond,” Parmar said.
According to Parmar, every edition of RRR blends endurance with celebration — live music, energetic drummers along the route, enthusiastic volunteers, and a festival-like atmosphere at the venue including fun games for children and adults alike that has earned it the title of “RunFest of Goa”.
Shephan Shaikh, co-chairperson of RRR said, “RRR is not just a run. It is a movement for change. Over the years, it has supported major Rotary initiatives in women’s health, education, and community development, touching thousands of lives through funds raised from the event.”
According to Shephan, all RRR editions bring together runners, performers, families, fitness lovers, and communities for a day filled with energy, joy, and purpose. “On 26th July 2026, we once again invite seasoned athletes, first-timers, and families seeking a meaningful monsoon experience,” Shephan said.
