Vihaan Tari of Tiswadi Taluka Chess Association won the All Goa Rapid Chess Tournament 2026 for under-13s organised by Mall De Goa
under the auspices of Goa Chess Association, in partnership with the Bardez Taluka Chess Association and Bharat Vikas Parishad, Goa Prant Panaji Branch.
Organised by Rasika Parab, Marketing Manager of Mall De Goa, with the support of Vishal Asolkar of Jai Bhuvan Builders Pvt. Ltd., the event drew enthusiastic participation from young chess players across Goa in the Under-7, Under-9, and Under-11 categories.
Vihaan Tari notched up an impressive score of 7 points out of 7 rounds. He was followed closely by Aaradhya Sawant Balkrishna from Salcete in 2nd place, and Rhys Dominic Carvalho from Mormugao in 3rd place. Other notable performers included Desai Aryan, Aarav Nagueshkar, Dhume Shubhan, Dukle Vania Vaibhav, Deusekar Urmish, Asmi Ameya Shirodkar, and Aarin Basu.
The other category prize-winners in Under-7, Under-9, Under-11 (Boys and Girls) are as follows:. Vrisha Manerkar, Bhomkar Dhanvi, Dacunha Sidonia, Jigyasa Gawas, Rudra G Nagarsekar, Rao Viyansh, Ghosh Swapnil, Nirbhay Gaude.
