PANAJI: Speed pitching by Goan startups to high net-worth angel investors, startup hackathons, knowledge sessions by experts from the startup ecosystem, panel discussions with policy-makers, networking sessions and more will be witnessed on the concluding day of Antha Prerna 2021, a Startup Conclave and Entrepreneurship Summit hosted by the Startup Promotion Cell, Government of Goa in collaboration with Atal Incubation Centre- Goa Institute of Management (AIC-GIM) and Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited on 3rd September at the Taj Resort and Convention Centre at Dona Paula.
The summit is an effort to bring together the collective ecosystem of entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, startups, educationists, the government and policy-makers; to create synergies that will empower and facilitate a robust startup ecosystem in Goa. The summit was inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant last week.
The concluding day will have power-packed sessions ranging from startup hackathons to panel discussions and virtual live interactions with some of the most recognised names from the business and investor ecosystem. Over 20 shortlisted startups from across the state will pitch their business ideas to venture capitalists, industry stakeholders and government representatives at the session Match-a-thon. Shortlisted from several incubators from across Goa, the entrepreneurs will showcase their innovative products and services while seeking investment.
In a session aimed at entrepreneurs and startups that choose to venture beyond IT, policy-makers and domain experts will engage, discuss and deliberate on the challenges and opportunities that exist within the ecosystem.
