Diya (Elo-1115) won individual and team gold medal in Blitz format, with a score of 6 points out of a maximum of 7. A total of 35 players participated in the tournament.

Meanwhile, at the 47th National Sub-Junior (U-15) Open & 38th National Sub-Junior girls (U-15) Championships 2022 in New Delhi; Ethan Vaz (Elo-2049) finished joint-3rd and placed 8th rank on tie-break. He scored 8.5 points out of possible 11 rounds in the Open section. In the girls category, Asmita Avjit Ray (Elo-1413) scored 7.5 points out of possible 11 rounds and secured the 14th place.
