Entertainment Society of Goa’s Cinephile Film Club will resume regular screenings from Thursday (12th January) at Maquinez Palace, Old GMC Complex, in Panaji at 6.30pm.
Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Dial M For Murder, tomorrow to kickoff the film club’s regular feature for the New Year.

This Hitchcock classic was adapted from a stage play by Frederick Knott. The story revolves around Tony Wendice (Ray Milland), a tennis player, who is married to Margot (Grace Kelly). When Tony discovers his wife is having an affair, he plots a murder, but it doesn’t quite go according to plan.
The film was originally shot in 3D way back in 1954. There are several adaptations of this story, including one in Hindi as Aitbaar (1985).
