Don Bosco Sports Academy, Fatorda, emerged as the dominant force at the ASMITA Khelo India Women’s 3×3 Basketball League (South Goa leg) held at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, registering a clean sweep in multiple categories.
DBSA (A) clinched both the U-18 Girls and Senior Women’s titles, with their respective B teams finishing as runners-up in both categories, underlining the academy’s depth and strength, while Ponda Basketball Club secured third place in both these events.
In the U-9 Girls section, DBSA once again showcased their supremacy as they defeated Margao Toddlers in the final, completing a comprehensive sweep across all divisions. The tournament saw participation from 10 teams, and was conducted under the ASMITA (Achieving Sports Milestone by Inspiring Women Through Action) Khelo India initiative, which aims to promote and empower women’s participation in sports across the country.
