Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Women’s Wing Committee, in association with Directorate of Food & Drugs Administration; organised an FSSAI Licensing Mela on 11th June.
The motive behind the initiative was to carry out major awareness campaign in order to mobilise entrepreneurs in food business to legalise their ventures by procuring FSSAI Licence.
Meanwhile the GCCI Logistics Committee organised a field visit to the Manohar International Airport, Mopa on 12th June, to understand the facilities available at the airport for the logistics stakeholders from Goa.
The Government of Goa promotes Logistics as an industry. As such, the Logistics and Warehousing Policy of Goa recognises the critical need for robust logistics infrastructure in the state. It aims to drive the development of efficient and modern logistics infrastructure, including state-of-the-art warehouses, well-connected transport routes, and smart logistics parks. These initiatives aim to enhance the accessibility and affordability of logistics services, ensuring speedy, smooth, and seamless movement of goods, and making Goa a logistics hub in the region.
