Anvishree S. Shetkar of Government College Quepem, bagged gold medal at the 3rd Sqay Martial Art Senior National Championship held at Dhule, Maharashtra recently.
Anvishree trumped the field made up of 15 players from different states, in Kaushal in the below-58kg weight category. At the same time, she also won gold medal in Yudhan in the same weight category.
Anvishree, who is also a qualified official and officiated in the said Championships, is pursuing FY B’COM degree at Government College Quepem.
Anvishree also won a bronze medal in junior under-18, 5th Lathi National Championship held on 7th and 8th December 2024 at Margao, Goa organised by Sqay Association of Goa in collaboration with Lathi Association Goa.
