PANAJI: Futebol Club YFA made light work of Goa United Sports Academy with a 3-0 win in the GFA Vedanta Women’s League at Duler stadium, Mapusa, on Sunday morning.
There was no score in the first session. YFA opened the account in the 49th minute as Ansiva played Chelsea through on goal, who scored with a neat finish.
The second goal came at the hour-mark and it was Somanya, who slammed home a 45-yard strike.
YFA scored their third goal through Rhea Pires. Somanya Mukundan of YFA was named the player of the match. The award was presented by GUSA coach Agostinho Dias and manager Jesusly Baptista.
