Navneet Nasnodkar and Betty Dourado were amongst the title-winners at the State Ranking for Masters (Veterans) Tournament organised by Panjim Panthers Club and Evening Badminton Group, in collaboration with the Goa Badminton Association and Sports Authority of Goa. It is a Selection tournament for the prestigious 46th Indian Masters Nationals to be held in March in Haryana.
The thrilling finals of the singles matches took place at the Indoor Stadium, Campal. Amongst the remarkable victories, Navneet Nasnodkar clinched the MS 35+ title after a riveting match against Dr Mihir Desai, while Betty Dourado emerged victorious in the WS 35+ category. Other notable winners include Amit Kakkar in MS 40+, Parag Chauhan in MS 45+, Vineeta Adpaikar in WS 45+, Dr Sandeep Fowkar in MS 50+, Marina Albuquerque in WS 50+, Volusiano Dourado in MS 55+, Felipe Barbosa in MS 60+, Dr Manju Khandeparkar in WS 60+, Tanaji Sawant in MS 65+, and Dr Satish Kudchadkar in MS 70+.
