PANAJI: Indian Medical Association Goa chapter has highlighted the contribution of Amit S. Patkar, businessman from Curchorem; in the ongoing battle against Covid-19.
In a press communique, IMA Goa said that Patkar generously donated 50 pulse oximeters and 100 oxygen masks at SGDH Hospital, Margao. They were delivered to Dr Rajesh Patil, Nodal officer-Margao in the presence of Dr Vinayak Buvaji, president of IMA Goa State.
In another kind act, Patkar also donated a high-grade oxygen concentrator along with pulse oximeters and masks to the rural OPD, Neturlim village. Dr Mayur Bhandari, who is dedicating his medical services at Neturlim after travelling from Canacona, Dr Mahesh Verlekar, Dr Satyesh Kamat, Dr Rajesh Patil, Dr. Vinayak Buvaji, Bhiku Kalmo, Prashant Gaonkar and Dhananjay Bhandari were present on the occasion.
