PANAJI: Goa clinched individual and team gold medals in Yogasana at the 4th Khelo India Youth Games 2022, in Panchkula-Haryana today.
Niral Wadekar won the gold medal in Artistic Single (Girls U-18) event with a score of 134.29. She was a part of the Artistic Group Girls U-18 winning team, which also comprised Aashnee Bhat Sarmalkar, Frazeen Zakati, Yashica Chevli and Manaswi Das. The Goan team collected a total of 127.5 points to bag second gold medal of the day.
Yesterday, Manaswi Das and Yashica Chevli had won the silver medal in Artistic Pairs event. The two gold medals take Goa’s tally to three (2 gold, 1 silver).
