PANAJI: Goa’s Sanjana Prabhugaonker clinched silver medal jn 50M Backstroke event at the ongoing Glenmark 37th Sub – Junior & 47th Junior National Aquatic Championships 2021 organised by Karnataka Swimming Association under the aegis of Swimming Federation of India, in Bengaluru.
Sanjana’s effort was timed at 31.63, while the gold medal was bagged by Nina Venkatesh of Karnataka with a timing of 30.80 followed by bronze medalist Bhakti Wadkar from Maharashtra at 31.94.
Yesterday, the talented Goan swimmer had earned gold medal in 200Metres backstroke with a timing of 2:28:71. Sanjana is a Std 9 student of The Ardee School, Porvorim.
