PANAJI: Goa’s Xavier Michael D’Souza bagged bronze medal in 100 Metres backstroke with a timing of 58.96 at the ongoing Glenmark Senior National Aquatic Championships 2021 organised by Karnataka Swimming Association under the aegis of Swimming Federation of India, in Bengaluru.
The event was very competitive with Olympian Srihari Natraj winning gold medal with a New Meet Record of 55.10 by breaking his own record of 55.63. Siva S clinched silver medal with a timing of 57.60
Xavier is currently undergoing full-time regular coaching under swimming coach Bhushan Kumar’s team at GAFRAY Aquatic Centre in Bengaluru.
