PANAJI: Super Sports Club thrashed Union Sports Club by 103 runs in Panjim Gymkhana’s Bandodkar Trophy (knock-out) cricket tournament.
Electing to bat, Super SC put up 212 runs in 39.2 overs with Gaurav Desai scoring 55 runs. Prem Chaudhary was the other notable contributor with 29 runs. For Union SC, Prasad Harle took five wickets giving away just 40 runs. Mohit Tari picked up three wickets for 42 runs.
In reply, Union SC were bowled out for 109 runs in 28.5 overs. Prasad Harle (17) and Rohit Bhonsle (16) were the top-two run-getters. Prem (4-25) was the most successful bowler for Super SC.
