PANAJI: Goa Olympic Association (GOA), as part of its Olympic Awareness programme on the sidelines of Tokyo 2020, felicitated Rugby sportspersons and promoters from Goa.
In a programme at KTC bus-stand, Panaji; Claudia Crizzle, Pooja Malgaonkar, Jeevan Bedadolkar, Harsh Gupta and Mark Fernandes were recognised for their outstanding performances and contributions in developing the sport of Rugby in Goa. Andrea Crizzle from Goa Rugby Union graced the occasion along with North Goa co-ordinators Chetan Kavlekar and Sandeep Heble.
During the day, cycle rallies were held in Margao and Panaji to promote Olympic Games awareness, says a press release issued by Sandeep Heble, Media co-ordinator of Goa Olympic Association.
