PANAJI: The third edition of the Tri Goa Multi-City century cycle ride, will be held on Sunday, 31st October.
In a media release, Tri Goa founder Rajesh Malhotra said that the participants would start at 6:30am simultaneously from the cities of Panaji, Margao, Ponda and Vasco; and take a circular route to pass each city and complete the 100km cycle ride.
“The cyclists will be allotted seven hours and 30 minutes to complete the entire route and all finishers will be presented with an exclusive medal. Special arrangements have been made in each town for refreshments and hydration,” said Malhotra.
The release added that 200 cyclists had participated in the event in the year 2020 and had a great time meeting up with fellow cyclists from different cities at the control points. Cyclists need to register on www.trigoa.org or Whatsapp 7447724744 for more details. Registrations will close on the midnight of 29th October 2021.
Tri Goa is an affiliate of Audax Club Paris and the Audax India Randonneurs and organises long-distance bicycle rides of upto 1400kms including the Tri Goa to Kanyakumari, 1200km ride to be completed within 90 hours, adds the press communique.
