A cop probes missing children’s complaints and visits their school. He is pleasantly surprised to see a school that is soothing and stimulating at the same time. To his amazement, he finds the children hidden inside the school. As he talks to them, he is stunned by the children’s perspective about the school being better than home when the story in the past was just the opposite with parents having a hard time trying to convince their children about the significance of schooling.

This is a brief outline of the video posted by the Department of Information and Publicity underlining the endeavour of the Government of Goa to deliver upgraded schools across the state. Watch the video:

In the year 2022-23, Goa has witnessed significant infrastructure upgradation in Education sector. Among the stunning new facilities is Shree Vitthal Rakumaee Government Primary School, which is Goa’s first ‘Green School’. The school at Vithalapur has been developed at a cost of Rs 5.6 crores under the Green Building concept as per the norms of the Indian Green Building Council. The Green School Building has a Yoga and Meditation room depicting stars and planets on its walls and a ceiling that makes use of a skylight to illuminate various rooms. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj School Complex at Bicholim – a three-storey school with an auditorium, counseling room and well-equipped classrooms; has been constructed at a total cost of Rs 13 crores. With Rs 4323 crores allotted to the Education sector in the Swayampura Goa Budget 2023, Goans can expect a wide scale development via quality infrastructure to enhance the educational field for bright future of the children of today and times to come!
