A Konkani short story by Dr. Prakash Parienkar was presented by Ramita Gurav and Mamata Verlekar, while a Hindi short story by Hrishikesh Sulabh was performed by Salil Chaturvedi and Monika Kshatriya. Noted Konkani writer Dr. Prakash Parienkar also attended the programme.
Throughout its run, “We, The Rivers of Goa” used art, poetry, talks, workshops, readings, screenings, storytelling, walks, and performances to foster stewardship for the state’s rivers.
The initiative was launched to protect and create awareness about the rivers of Goa through community-driven cultural engagements, encouraging dialogue and inspiring action for river conservation.
The concluding session saw participation from artists, writers, and river enthusiasts. With this final event, “We, The Rivers of Goa” leaves behind conversations, collaborations, and a renewed call to listen when the river speaks.
