Chief Electoral Officer, Ramesh Verma, IAS, launched a voters awareness song ‘ZABABDAREN MOTDAN KOR’, composed by the team ‘Zagrut Goenkar: Indians for Democracy’, in the presence of Vrunda M Desai, IRS, Expenditure Observer South Goa.
The Election Commission has been constantly endeavouring to improve the fidelity of electoral rolls with focused efforts on acquiring maximum registration of eligible electors and removing the impurities in the rolls drive.
Verma said that the song is dedicated to all the voters and appealed to the people to come in large numbers and cast their vote to make a record of 100% voting which is possible only in Goa. He also suggested to all the voters to come out in large number and ensure their vote, relatives vote and their family cast their vote on May 07, 2024
The Voting Awareness Song has been composed by Joe D Costa, lyrics by John Aguiar and sung by Joe D Costa.
