PANAJI: Goa probables for the upcoming Ranji Trophy 2020-21 season, underwent Covid-19 test today at GCA Academy, Porvorim. Apart from Ashoke Dinda and Harshad Gadekar, other 29 probables reported for the test following the SOP advised by the BCCI.
Meanwhile, former India bowler Dodda Ganesh will continue to coach Goa while newly-recruited Arjun Basu will be the trainer for the team.
The Ranji Trophy format for the season in the new-normal, has been changed to the erstwhile South Zone competition at the yet to be announced venue. The field will comprise Goa, Karnataka, TN, Andhra, Hyderabad, Kerala and Puducherry. The season will commence tentatively in January 2021.
