PONDA: Goa hosted it’s first state championship in gymnastics at Arihant Sports Academy here on Sunday (December 20, 2020). In the first ever ‘Aerobic Gymnastics’ state competition, Farzeen Zakati secured under-14 gold medal while Kamakshi Dharwadkar bagged gold medal in under-11 category of the championship organised by Goa Gymnastic Association.
Businessman Sagar Sakordekar was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Businessman Sudin Verenkar and International para-archer Mangesh Kuttikar graced the occasion with their presence. Maharashtra Gymnastic Association had deputed the technical officials to conduct the event.
