GOA PARA-TABLE TENNIS TEAM MAKES AN IMPACT AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, LLOYD FERNANDES ENTERS FINAL

PANAJI: Goa’s Lloyd Fernandes has entered the finals of Para-Table Tennis National Championship in progress in Indore, MP.

Lloyd produced a series of sensational wins and made it to the title clash, in what has been a very impressive outing for the Goan para-paddler.

The Goa Table Tennis Association’s Para TT Committee has deputed a 8-member Para TT team for the ongoing Nationals. Some of the other players also notched up a few good wins, but Lloyd’s consistency has made him the standout performer, states a press communique by the committee.

Moreover, the Para TT team were well-prepared in terms of equipment and also training as prior to team departure, former Goa State champion Ajit Ghantker and Pinnacle TT Academy-Fatorda, had boosted their morale.

Lloyd from Taleigao, has been coached by Selvyn Godinho.
