Goa will be looking to continue their impressive performance at the upcoming Khelo India Yogasana Under-18 Asmita Women’s League to be held from 8th to 10th March at Amroha, Uttar Pradesh.
In the recent past, Goa have given a good account of themselves by winning medals at the West Zone Championship in Jabalpur and thus qualified for the National Championship. Their medal tally read – Bronze (Artistic pair by Sahana Neugui and Nandini Dhiman), Bronze (Rhythmic pair by Laxmi Ilkal and Dipali Nanavare) and Bronze (Artistic group by Laxmi, Nandini, Sahana , Dipali and Kimaya Bandekar).
Yogasana Sports Association Goa has conveyed its best wishes to the team as expectation builds towards a medal-winning display at the Nationals where the players will represent west zone.
Vishal Gawas and Shraddha Thakur will accompany the team as a coach and manager respectively, stated a press communique.
