Former Goa Ranji vice-captain Hemant B. Pai Angle’ has informed that he has been appointed as head coach of Assam under-16 team to train players for the Vijay Merchant Trophy. The tournament starts on 1st December 2022 in Surat.
Assam Cricket Association in a letter to Hemant, states: “Pursuant to your personal interview, you have been selected as the Head Coach for the Assam State U-16 Men’s Cricket Team for the season 2022-23. The trial cum selection camp for the U-16 state team will start at Guwahati on 01/11/2022. Therefore, you are asked to report at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara, Guwahati-18 accordingly.”
