PANAJI: GCQ men & women team emerged winners at the Inter-College Cross-Country Championship organised by Fr Agnel College-Pillar.
Ankita Velip of GCQ bagged the individual Championship in the Women’s category. Siya Naik (GCQ) finished fourth. In the men’s category, Babu Gaonkar of GCQ finished third.
GCQ men & women runners finished in top ten respectively and thus emerged team champions. There were more than 100 participants, from across 13 different colleges both sections.

Team Championship: (Men) Winners: Govt College Quepem, Runners-Up: Don Bosco College Panaji, Third Place: CES College Cuncolim.
Team Championship: (Women) Winners: Govt College Quepem, Runners-Up: Mallikarjun College Canacona, Third Place: Rosary College Navelim.
Men’s team: Babu Gaonkar, Milfort Peixote Sajan Velip, Parasharam Ghadi, Swapnil Raiker & Uttarsh Bhisaji.
