PANAJI: India’s Covid-19 vaccination drive begins on Saturday morning and Manipal Hospitals-Goa as lined up 100 beneficiaries from its staff including doctors, nurses, sanitation workers; for the jab. Head of Department (Oncology), Dr Shekhar Salkar appealed to Goans to be cooperative about the campaign and expressed confidence about the success of the nationwide exercise. In his categorical appeal on the eve of the roll-out, the former IMA-Goa chief cautioned people against spreading negativity about petty side-effects on social media.
