NAVY WINDSURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS: GOA’S DAYNE, KEONA, AVELINO, PEARL & ADARSH GUN FOR GOLD MEDAL

PANAJI: Goa’s Dayne Coelho, Keona Rajani, Avelino Fernandes, Pearl Colvalkar and Adarsh Chunekar are going strong in their respective categories at the ongoing Open Navy Windsurfing Championship 2021 at Chicalim, according to a press communique by Goa Yachting Association.

Dayne could not match his performance of Day 1, managing only 1 gun and two second places on Day 2 in RS:X Olympic category.  However, he held on to the  overall top spot while Ebad Ali of Army Yachting Node Mumbai, jumped to second place by taking 2 guns today.

In the RS:One women section Asian Games category,  Keona maintained her overall first place on Day 2.

In the Techno 293 OD which is the Youth Olympics category,  Avelino took all 3 guns of the day to maintain first place in the boys category and Pearl is overall first in the Techno 293 OD Girls.

In the Race Board youth category, Adarsh took the gun in all 3 races of the day and consolidated his lead for the gold medal.
