SYNTHETIC COURTS FOR TENNIS & BADMINTON AT BPS SPORTS CLUB MARGAO IN VIEW OF NATIONAL GAMES

PANAJI: Two synthetic tennis courts and a badminton court, have been developed at Margao-based BPS Sports Club at the cost of Rs 60 lakh, according to a press release issued by Goa Olympic Association. The facility will be utilised for practice at the upcoming National Games.

A grant of Rs 20 lakh has been provided by the Sports Authority of Goa, while industrialist Nana Bandekar has sponsored Rs 5 lakhs, added the press communiqué. The courts have been built by Syncotts India Pvt Ltd.
