Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar felicitated yoga players and coach Damodar Govekar after the Goa Yoga Association-deputed team put in an impressive performance at 50th Sub-Junior and Junior National Yogasana/Artistic/Rhythmic/Sports Championships held from 27th to 30th December 2025.
The competition was organised by Jharkhand Yoga Association under the auspices of Yoga Federation of India. Ashwini Churi was the Girls’ coach.
Following players won the medals: Yeshwant & Om Govenkar – Silver Medals (Artistic pair); Kathyani & Tusu Manna – Bronze Medals (Artistic pair); Harshita Dhiraj Murgaokar & Ashnee Damodar Bhat Sarmalkar (Consolation Prize).
