Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated Government Primary School at Arla-Querim, Ponda, on Thursday. Art and Culture Minister, Govind Gaude, who is also the MLA of Priol, was present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasised on the positive statement being made by creating stimulating infrastructure at the primary education level.
“We are impressing on the young minds, the love for history, attraction towards nature,” said Dr Sawant as he described the concept of wall-paintings and sculpture that deck the primary schools conceptualised by Education director and Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation.
