Govt College Quepem (GCQ) emerged winners at the Inter-College men’s and women’s Cross-Country race organised by Rosary College Navelimon 29th July 2023. Around 100 athletes from various colleges of Goa, took part in the 9km races both in men as well as women categories.
Ulhas Tuekar, MLA of Navelim constituency, graced the occasion along with the Principal of Rosary College Navelim, and gave away the prizes.
Don Bosco College Panjim finished second while MES College Vasco were third in men’s event.
Rosary College Navelim were the runners-up while Mallikarjun College Canacona finished third in women’s race.

GCQ Men: Parasharam Ghadi, Milfort Peixote, Sidhant Gaonkar, Shaiesh Gaonkar, Swapnil Raikar, Pravin Gaonkar, Angelo Carvalho.
Women: Ankita Gaonkar, Siya Naik, Ankita Velip, Pratiksha Velip, Damini Tate, Chaya Patil, Kirti Gaonkar.
Among the Individual Medal-winners were Parasharam Ghadi, Siya Naik and Ankita Velip.
